Sources policy
Which sources Living+ Peptides cites, which it never cites, and how we check them.
Primary sources we use
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA): approvals, guidance, warning letters and compounding lists.
- Federal Register: proposed and final rules, and public dockets.
- DailyMed: FDA-approved prescribing information.
- PubMed: peer-reviewed research.
- ClinicalTrials.gov: registered clinical trials and their results.
- The DEA, state boards of pharmacy and other government bodies, when they apply.
Sources we never cite
- Peptide vendors, "research use only" sellers and their blogs.
- Affiliate sites, forums and social media posts, as evidence for a claim.
How we check
- We link to the original record, not a summary of it.
- We prefer human studies and say clearly when a finding comes only from lab or animal work.
- We note when a study is small, early or not yet peer reviewed.
- Status boxes show the date we last verified each record.
If you think a source is wrong or out of date, see our corrections log for how to tell us.
