## Warning letter to Empower Pharmacy

On September 18, 2026, FDA issued a warning letter to Empower Clinic Services, doing business as Empower Pharmacy [1]. FDA says its investigators collected evidence that the firm compounded products that were essentially copies of commercially available drugs, regularly and in inordinate amounts, including tirzepatide products [1].

## Apothecary Pharma recall

Apothecary Pharma recalled 22 vials of compounded [tirzepatide](/peptides/tirzepatide/) injection and 1 vial of NAD+ injection, distributed nationwide, for lack of assurance of sterility [2]. FDA lists it as a Class II recall that began on September 24, 2026 [2].
